The Haitian Federation of Aquatic Sports is composed of six Olympic disciplines including: swimming, low diving, distance swimming, artistic swimming, high diving, and water polo. For lack of assistance from the supervisory body (Ministry of Sports), Haiti only participates in Swimming.
However, we have very good swimmers spread over the national territory, capable of representing Haiti and winning medals.
The FHSA takes this opportunity to launch a strong appeal to the leaders called upon to take the destinies of sport in Haiti, not to engage in "mounpanism" and destructive politics with sport, because we have a youth to save.
If since 1928 Haiti has won the medal at the Olympic Games with Sylvio Cator in athletics, we have great possibilities of winning medals at the next Olympics through aquatic sports.
Therefore, the federation will need the contribution, collaboration, participation and cooperation of everyone. Because Haiti must be reborn from its ashes through sport, especially swimming which is very promising.
